Known as Niewidzialny Dom locally, this house gives visitors the chance to experience what it is like to be in total darkness. The aim is to encourage people to use all of their senses, other than sight, and they ask that visitors don’t tell others about what is inside. The tour lasts for around an hour and many of the guides are blind or partially sighted. Most visitors will find that they can understand a little more the challenges that those with sight issues have in life, with the tours available in English and Polish, although English tours must be pre-booked on-line. Although the experience isn’t suitable for those aged under 9, it’s usually popular with older children.

The house is open from 10.00 until 18.00 every day of the week, other than on Fridays and Saturdays during the months of May to September, when it opens until 20.00. There’s a maximum tour size of eight people with the prices variable depending on the time of year, but tickets usually cost 23zl to 28zl for adults and 18zl to 22zl for concessions.
