COSMOPOLIS FOUNTAIN

This fountain, located by the city centre university building, was installed in June 1998 and it takes its name from a book written by Nicolaus Copernicus. There are over 100 water nozzles and the fountain is in operation throughout the day, but in the evening there are shows where the lights and water are choreographed to the music which is played. The water can reach up to five metres in height and there are areas to sit around the fountain.

The timing of the evening fountain shows varies throughout the year, but during summer they start at 21.00 and finish at 00.00.
